Grabbed an hour or so at L*ncing. Wind was side-on from the left. Used a 5.5m ezzy on a 9'8" Starboard SUP. Interesting, if not entirely exhilarating. The groundswell was still around, but the tide was a bit high and there was a lot of wind swell stuff travelling west from up the channel. Managed to catch and glide on a few of the swell lines before mild down the line turns and a soft gybe out. Even got a tack off the wave on one which is a total first for me!!!

Board gybed nicely with some quick footwork. ENough wind out there to get it planing too a couple of times, but it was a real effort and it did not like being up there when it was going!! Had the side thrusters in which was probably causing more grief.
